Ha Bui

Ha is a project manager and specialist economic modeller at Cambridge Econometrics. She contributes to the maintenance, development and application of CE’s suite of economic models, including the global model E3ME, the MDM-E3 model of the UK and regions and the UK Local Economy Forecasting Model (LEFM).

She is experienced in modelling, particularly in the context of sector economic performance, trade and decarbonisation, as well as engaging with a variety of clients and stakeholders.

Projects that she contributed to include: modelling the socio-economic impact of global energy transition scenarios for IRENA’s Global Energy Outlook; estimating the impact of the UK Prime Minister’s Ten Point Plan for Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership; assessing the potential impacts of expanding the coverage of the EU ETS to include road transport and buildings, for the European Climate Foundation; modelling work to support CE’s contributions to Working Futures 2017-27 for the Department for Education; and estimating the impact of Brexit on the London and UK economy for the Greater London Authority.
