Zsófia Kőműves

Zsofi is an economist at the Budapest Office of Cambridge Econometrics. As part of the modelling team, she is responsible for data processing, scenario development, econometric estimations, and macroeconomic modelling.

 

Zsofi is currently working on sustainable investment modelling projects to quantifying climate-related financial risk with the E3ME model.  She has also contributed to several recent modelling projects: the analysis of global megatrends (DG Energy), the impact assessment of renewable and fossil fuel subsidies (DG Energy) and a study on the health and welfare benefits of decarbonisation (IRENA).

 

Zsofi is very interested in understanding development, inequality and labour market topics using applied microeconomics and data analysis. She has completed the post-graduate coursework for PhD in Development Economics (IHEID, Geneva) and holds an MA and BA from Economics from Central European University and ELTE, both with distinction.
