Michael McGovern

Michael is an Economic Modeller in Cambridge Econometrics’ Cambridge office. His recent projects include research into the EU’s dependency on oil imports, the impacts of a UK green recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, and the circular economy in Africa. Currently he is working on several energy and climate modelling projects employing CE’s macro-econometric model, E3ME.

He holds a BA in European Social and Political Studies from UCL, and a Graduate Diploma in Economics from SOAS University of London, where he received the Graduate Diploma Prize in Economics.
